Melanie Emory, DVM

Dr. Melanie Emory is almost a Charlotte native, she moved to Charlotte with her family at a young age. She has wanted to be a veterinarian since about age 5. She went to undergrad at UNC Charlotte and earned a BA in Chemistry along with minors in Anthropology and Biology. She went on to attend Mississippi State University – College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2006. She has practiced in Louisiana, Colorado, and Wyoming before returning home to North Carolina. She is married to Jason and they have two young children Ethan and Evelyn. When she has spare time Dr. Emory enjoys reading, photography, hiking and of course playing with her kids. She is excited to join the team at Brookdale!
